On Friday 8 May, Nutrien Ag Solutions branches across the country were awash with blue in support of Do It for Dolly Day.
This annual event sees staff come together with their communities to raise essential funds for Dolly’s Dream.
The charity was created to honour Dolly Everett, who, at just 14 years of age, took her own life after an extended period of bullying and cyberbullying.
In the years since, Dolly has helped inspire a powerful movement of kindness, and Nutrien is proud to have long supported the work of the her parents, Kate and Tick, who founded Dolly’s Dream in 2018.
This year Nutrien kickstarted fundraising efforts by contributing an initial $50,000 Since then, branches have hosted raffles, charity steer auctions, sausage sizzles and more, to raise a total of $372,000.
All funds raised help Dolly’s Dream continue its important work. The charity delivers vital education programs, supports families, and equip young people with the tools they need to receive essential support.
This is especially important for those in remote, rural and regional communities, where access to timely services can be particularly difficult.
